Cheerleading Try-Outs for the Fall Season Cheer Team are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, June 23, 24, and 25 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. each day.

All Northgate students entering grades 7 through 12 who are interested in being a member of the Fall 2025 Northgate Middle School / High School Cheer Teams are invited to attend and participate in the tryouts. Interested students must report to the school gymnasium at 9 a.m. each day. On Monday and Tuesday, students will learn the tryout routines and practice those routines to prepare for the official tryouts on Wednesday, June 25.

Students are encouraged to dress appropriately for cheerleading and bring their best energy and excitement to the practice days and tryouts.

On Thursday, June 5th, Northgate School District proudly celebrated the commencement of the Class of 2025. Surrounded by family, friends, faculty and community members, 78 seniors crossed the stage to receive their diplomas.

This year’s graduating class included 45 honor graduates, a testament to their hard work and academic dedication. The ceremony featured inspiring addresses from the class valedictorian, Jeanelle Stiteler, and salutatorians Caleb Gratner and Tyler Harold, who reflected on the students’ shared journey and encouraged their peers to embrace the future with resilience and purpose.

In addition to celebrating academic achievement, the evening highlighted the strong community support that surrounds Northgate students. Local organizations and benefactors awarded 15 scholarships to graduating seniors to assist in their post-secondary endeavors—whether in college, trade programs, or the workforce.

We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2025 and look forward to all they will accomplish in the years ahead. Congratulations, graduates! 

 

The AHN mobile clinic will be coming back to Northgate on June 3^rd as well as June 10^th to help provide sports physicals for those who wish to participate in athletics in the 2025-2026 seasons. All the necessary documents to fill out are attached below and must be filled out prior to the appointment.
 
Appointments can be made by scanning the QR code attached to the Northgate flyer provided.

About 30 million children participate in USDA’s school breakfast and lunch programs on an average school day. When school is out for the summer, kids lose access to these healthy meals, but they still need nutritious food to grow healthy and strong. 

With SUN Meals, kids 18 and under can get free meals and snacks at schools, parks, and other group meal locations. You don’t need to apply for SUN Meals. Every child is welcome to eat and connect with other kids, and some meal locations offer fun activities, too!

With summer right around the corner, we want to make sure families in our community know where to find free meals for kids during the break!
