2026 Sports Physical Appointments Now Open

Students planning to participate in school sports can now schedule their required sports physical for the upcoming season. Appointments are now open and can be scheduled using the QR code or link provided on the flyer.

After an appointment is scheduled, families will receive a confirmation call and will have the option to pay in advance over the phone. Cash, check, and card payments will also be accepted at the appointment.

Required Forms – Bring to Your Appointment

Students must bring the following completed forms to their appointment:

AHN General Consent to Treat Release and Acknowledgement
Parent Written Permission Note
PIAA Sports Physical Form (please complete all required sections prior to arrival, especially Section 5)

The healthcare provider will complete Page 6 of the PIAA form during the appointment.

Copies of all forms will be available onsite if needed. However, if a student arrives without completed paperwork, verbal parent/guardian consent will be required before services can be provided.

Questions about scheduling or timing can be directed to the school office or event coordinator.

Northgate Hosts Cai & Kate Live!

On behalf of AHN Chill Project, we are thrilled to extend a special, invitation for the premiere of Cai & Kate™ Live!!! 

Join Cai & Kate as they guide children through their final field training with the Bureau of Big Feelings, on their journey to becoming official Big Feelings Detectives. This interactive, 30-minute live assembly seamlessly integrates content from the Cai & Kate YouTube Show and its FREE curriculum. Participants will have the opportunity to actively reinforce crucial self-regulation concepts, including:

Identifying body clues
Practicing Chill Skills®
Completing a Chill Check™
Discover how empowering children with these essential skills can be both educational and entertaining!

Evening Schedule:

5:00 PM: Doors Open for Arrival
6:00 PM: Cai & Kate® Live Show Begins
7:00 PM: Mingling and Refreshments
8:00 PM: Doors Close

Congratulations to the middle school swim team for their outstanding performance at the Invitational Swim Meet on Saturday at Moon High School. Every swimmer contributed to the team’s success and overall winning score.

Competing against 10 teams, the boys team earned an impressive 4th-place finish with only six swimmers, while the girls team captured the highest overall score.

A special thanks to all eighth graders, Reese Cleary, Frankie Dereume, Zaiden George, Emily Hershey, Caitlin Murray, London Phillippi, Austin Puck, Lenora Secich, Neysa Watts, Lydia Winner, and Michael Wolfe, for their leadership and team spirit.

Several other team coaches mentioned the skill, team spirit and sportsmanship shown by the entire team. Coach Terry would like to thank every swimmer for their participation. WAY TO GO!!

Summer STEAM Camp Registration Now Open

Northgate School District is excited to partner with Assemble for a six-week Summer STEAM Camp designed for rising 1st–5th grade students. Campers will participate in hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math activities in a fun, creative, and engaging environment.

Camp Details

Dates: June 29-August 6, 2026
Days: Monday-Thursday
Time: 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Location: Bellevue Elementary School, 435 Lincoln Ave., Bellevue, PA 15202

Northgate families are invited to learn more about an exciting opportunity for students who will be in grades 9-12 next school year to travel to Montreal and Quebec in March 2027.

This educational experience will include visits to iconic destinations such as Mount Royal Park, Château Frontenac, and Montmorency Falls, along with other cultural and historical highlights.

To provide families with full details, Dr. Caroline Johns will host a mandatory informational meeting on Tuesday, May 5th at 5:30 p.m. During this session, attendees will receive important information about the trip itinerary, pricing, safety measures, and available scholarship opportunities.

RSVP is required to attend the meeting and must be completed by May 4th.

Please note that space on this trip is limited, and enrollment will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendance at the informational meeting is required in order to secure a spot on the tour.

This trip promises to be a meaningful and memorable experience for our students, and we are proud to offer them this opportunity to expand their learning beyond the classroom.
