Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases that have been associated with social gatherings, the Northgate School District has decided to move to fully virtual instruction for all students beginning Monday, November 23. PHEAA will present information on the financial aid application process, what types of aid are available for students, and strategies to start thinking about affordability before getting ready to apply for post-secondary school admission. Time will be built into the presentation to allow you to ask any questions you may have regarding the financial aid process.
The Northgate Board of Directors has voted to return to in-person learning beginning on Thursday, November 5. The district will be operating in a hybrid model to allow for social distancing at all times.
If your family plans to remain fully online when school reopens, please notify your principal as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.

The AIU and Remake Learning are offering a six-part back-to-school series for parents and caregivers. The So Now What? virtual series features the country’s leading experts in education and childhood development. The Salvation Army’s North Boroughs Worship & Service Center in Avalon is hosting a Back to School Drive-Through Event on Saturday, August 22 from Noon-2 pm. They will be providing stuffed backpacks to local children in need. This socially distant event will also include a live band and some friends from the community to build excitement for the start of the upcoming school year.
